Not only does this pouch make a great and durable first aid pouch, but at 1000D I often carry a second (absent the red cross) as a utility pouch.  At 8"x6"x3" these pouches has a two zippered compartment with two separate interior compartments for the outdoorsman to keep items organized and separate, but close at hand.  When not utilized as a first aid pouch, it works great for snacks, navigation devices, utility tools, and/or fire starting equipment.
